Labeled "The Great American Eclipse" and "The National Eclipse, the worlds greatest natural phenomenon will be the first coast-to-coast total solar eclipse in America since 1918. Bring something over to the Leopard Lounge dining buffet table to share! If you don't bring your own camp kitchen to cook, THERE IS A FOOD COURT THERE AT THE FESTIVAL! We have such a big group coming that we decided to not do a potluck night. You are welcome to cook and share whatever you would like at your leisure.
This is a one in a lifetime event! There is no water or electrical provided at Solarfest in the tent area, but we are glamorous campers! We will have our own quiet Honda generator for lights at night, cell phone charging table and if you need to use a CPAP machine, you can plug in if you bring a very long extension cord.
They provide coin-op nice air conditioned hot showers, and clean porta johns. Water and ice will be for sale there as well.
We will have an epic fun music filled camp to frolic at that will be as much fun as the festival.
BRING YOUR MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS FOR LIVE CAMP JAMS!
We will have the Glamp-O-Rama Community BOOMERANG BAR to share at our camp! Glamp-O-Rama will have a Margarita Keg on tap! Please bring ingredients if you want to wow us with your latest cocktail recipes and bar snacks to share with the group!
Everyone buys their own tickets from the Oregon Solarfest Website the Glamp-O-Rama organizer will get there on the first day to secure us a sweet spot. People can set up their camp anywhere they want, but it's way more fun to be together. THERE IS NO FEE TO CAMP WITH THE Glamp-O-Rama Group.
It is tent, van or Dry RV camping only in our camp for this adventure. All camping spots are assigned upon arrival only. To camp with our group, please send a pdf of your 5 day camping pass to Tré Taylor so we can scan all of our tickets together at the gate upon arrival.
If you don't want to camp with our Leopard Lounge Camp, just stop by and party with us!
The first total solar
eclipse touching the continental United States since 1979 touches down on the
Oregon coast between Lincoln City and Newport at 10:15 a.m. PDT. Before Oregon,
the shadow of the Moon (umbra) does not touch any other landmass or island
before Oregon.

Oregon will be one of the
most popular states to view the eclipse. While the rest of the United States
offers a longer duration of totality, sections of the eclipse path in Oregon
offers the best weather prospects anywhere along the entire eclipse path.
Two major viewing parties
are being organized in Oregon. The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI)
has announced a viewing event at the state fairgrounds in Salem, see
www.omsi.edu/eclipse-2017 for details. Another event, the Oregon SOLARFEST is
being held in Madras, Oregon. See www.oregonsolarfest.com for information.
